I'm seeking the best links about leading anti-sex worker activists and groups to add to the opposition page on SWAAY.org. (Most of the page was already compiled from the extensive notes kept by sex-positivity rockstar Megan Andelloux.) I'm looking for two types of things: blog posts, articles, and videos debunking them, and particularly offensive articles and videos where the person describes their politics in their own words. (Everything some of these people say offends the shit out of me, but sometimes they sound more crazy and cruel than other times.)
So please, post your suggestions in the comments. I am currently looking to create and expand profiles on the following people and organizations, but am open to other suggestions, too.
* Catherine MacKinnon
* Gail Dines
* Donna Hughes
* DNA Foundation
* Melissa Farley
* Michael Leahy
* Pamela Paul
* The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women
* Shelley Lubben
* Shared Hope International
* Captive Daughters
* Robert Brannon
* Janice Raymond
* Craig Gross
* Lisa Thompson
* Robert Jensen
* Rebecca Whisnant
* Janice Crouse
* Karen McLaughlin
In general, I aim to use SWAAY.org to 1) get normal people interested in sex work issues and informed of the basics and terminology, and then 2) funnel them to more specific resources written for various topics. I'm not trying to be lazy - I truly believe that someone else has already done a better job of writing about many topics than I could. So, point me to those links!
(Also, I'm still trying to populate the "respect" section of the site with tips from an array of current and former sex workers, so check out the submissions page.)

Comment policy for Feminisnt: I do not publish blatant insults and trolling. You must use a name/handle other than anonymous or asdf because I am tired of giving space to detractors who are too lazy to pick a fake handle and too scared to use a real one. I no longer publish comments bitching at me about how feminism is the greatest thing ever. And I may not publish your comment if I have already addressed that specific issue several times already. Read my responses to other comments before asking a new question. Finally, if your comment hinges on an obvious logical fallacy, I might not publish that, either, except to make fun of you. All new commentors have their first comment held for moderation. Commenting on my blog and taking up space on my server is a privilege, not a right.

Not on your list, but in Australia one of the people with the loudest voices is Melinda Tankard Reist: http://melindatankardreist.com/2010/04/equal-opportunity-objectification/
She's the editor of a new book called 'Big Porn, Inc' which is contributed to by pretty much everyone on your list.

Piece on Shared Hope International founder Linda Smith: http://feministwhore.wordpress.com/2009/11/07/raising-awareness-about-the-anti-sex-trafficking-movement/
I also have a video covering much of the same info here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8snA__4WQM&feature=channel_video_title
These two vids below probably have enough info in them and enough links on the video pages that if you wanted to write something up it wouldn't take much time... I pretty much gave up on writing about these people/groups, because I know people too often don't even bother clicking links in text articles, and videos with a lot of screenshots was basically my way of forcing people to click the links, but anyway...
Here is a vid on "Hunt Alternatives" - you didn't mention them, but they supply a lot of the financial backing to the abolition movement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V--n8nV9Oqo
Here is a vid on Catharine MacKinnon's FATHER (senator, federal judge) - it sheds a lot of light on where she got her ideology, and he talks about her anti-porn efforts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nYTaHOymos

Furry Girl, was that you calling in to the Savage Love Podcast this week (episode 258)? There was a caller who name-dropped SWAAY in a comment about a previous show dealing with how/when sex workers should tell family and friends about their work. Either way (whether it was you calling or someone else), hooray for SWAAY.org getting a plug on the Lovecast!

I don't think the author of this post is necessarily anti-sex worker, (she's written about some of our issues before) but this particular post, and attendant comments, annoyed the crap out of me: http://www.feministe.us/blog/archives/2011/09/12/outsourcing-porn/
I posted once, and then was done.
I'm not ready to give up on feminism - I care about my right to abort too much, also my IUD, also I live on the east coast and honestly, some of the annoying stuff you've described coming out of the SF scene sounds like a dream compared to this place. But DAMN, especially the academic side of feminism... I feel like along with the bullshit of "at least we DID something" comes "at least we WROTE about it," from academic circles generally, and feminist circles, as tho "shedding light on the issue" from somebody's non-sex worker perspective is necessarily useful at all. In this case, frankly, I think it wound up being harmful - it just turned into a "pro-sex workers are evil whore-recruiters for the patriarchy" fest. What really pissed me off is that the author wrote about a very sensitive issue, and then basically didn't moderate the thread, even when comments contained claims that were just patent falsehoods, and then really unhelpful slurs at any sex worker who spoke up. This happens a lot on Feministe, actually, every time an issue around sex work is raised - lack of moderation creates a situation where a sitch that was maybe just a bit fucked up to begin with ends up really fucked up. The only time I ever saw differently was when an Australian sex worker posted about a collective, worker owned brothel, which is great, but... not a reality at present, for most of us. And then the comments were basically all about how sex work would only be acceptable if it existed in a commune.
It's sad coz I've been pretty much depending on Feministe for my Planned Parenthood news, and snipes at John Mayer whose music I kinda despise. Sigh.

Also: I see Janice Raymond in your list. Isn't she the same one who wrote "The Transexual Menace" about how trans people are all out to, you know, take over women's bodies like in The Body Snatchers and Destroy All That Is Sacred About Teh Wimminz by being trans OMG?!1!?!
Lotta credibility there, mmm yeah.

JordanOwen1 on youtube has bunches of videos specifically addressing arguments from the anti-porn people. Recently he has done a point by point deconstruction of Gail Dines' Porn Land, which was just awesome. Even if you don't end up using his stuff, I recommend it for a good thing to watch.

SmJ: Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't heard of her. However, since SWAAY is US-focused, and unless Reist starts making some big waves over here, I'm not going to put her on the list of top nutters to know.
FeministWhore: Thanks, I'll check those out.
Kaje: Yes, that was me. I hope I didn't come across super mumbly, I hate talking on the phone and leaving voicemails.
Miss C: I don't know who that Jill person is on Feministe. I'm looking to round up just the biggest players. If I had to keep track of every feminist blogger who doesn't like porn, I'd need to hire several full-time employees. You said, "I'm not ready to give up on feminism - I care about my right to abort too much, also my IUD..." Who says you have to be a feminist to support reproductive rights? Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist, and she probably accomplished more for birth control rights than any feminist ever has. Also, who's to say that birth control is solely a female issue? Heaps of men care about not having unplanned pregnancies. (The birth control pill itself was developed by men.) Janice Raymond is already on the list. And she's not alone in being a feminist trans-hater, it is common amongst older feminists.
Azura Rose: Thanks!

In the german- speaking part of the world, that would be http://www.emma.de. It's a radical feminist magazine organized around Alice Schwarzer. They claim to be in solidarity with prostitutes, but everything they write is in the typical "all prostitutes are abused, desperate or sell out female sexuality to patriarchy"- style. They also have a PorNO Campaign, which claims that pornography is visualized violence against women.

Thanks for the link, Sina, but I'm trying to keep the list focused on American stuff. SWAAY doesn't aim to exclude other country's issues, just keep a focus on things I understand best.
Luna: That is a private blog, I can't see the link.

Hi N'jaila: I'll check out your links. I know there are a bunch of anti-Shelley videos out there made by porn folk, but I don't want to use something that says Shelley is dishonest and a terrible person because she used to be a hooker. Being a hooker does not make a person a defacto liar/monster, and it's really shitty of porn people to hinge their argument against her on that so often. There are plenty of things wrong with Shelley, but her having been a prostitute is not one of them.
